From January 13 through the 15th, ACE Comic Con was held in Glendale, Arizona at the Gila River Arena. The lineup included the likes of Chris Evans, Tom Holland, Jon Bernthal, Sebastian Stan and Stan Lee among others.
During a panel featuring Chris Evans, Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, Stan known for portraying James Buchanan “Bucky” Barnes aka The Winter Soldier, made mention of a recent encounter with Logan star, Hugh Jackman. Stan said, “[…]I didn’t know what other awkward thing I could talk about but to be like, ‘Am I going to see you soon?’ I don’t know. But he said a couple of things to me and I’ll just leave it at that. Otherwise, I feel like I’m going to get into trouble with somebody. I asked him because I kept thinking he said whether or not that was, Logan, was supposed to be the last Wolverine thing or whatever and he said to me, well I think he publicly said out there, which was like he’s been thinking about it and it’s been on his mind. So, I don’t, he may be.”
Another notable highlight involved Chris Evans aka Captain America giving praise to Robert Downey Jr. and his portrayal of Tony Stark/ Iron Man. Evans remarked, “He’s such a wonderful guy and is so talented, so experienced, and so supportive. He’s always been in my corner and I’ve always felt supported by him. He really brings everybody in to the group and makes sure everyone feels welcome, especially on this last one. No matter what it feels like for me, I try to imagine what it feels like for him, because he really did start this. He really is so irreplaceable. Nobody can ever be Iron Man. It’s not a role like Superman or Batman that can kind of find different incarnations, no one can touch it.”
The trio will next be seen together in Avengers: Infinity War opening in theaters on May 4, 2018.
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
