On December 7th, 2017, Justice League actor, Ray Fisher who portrayed Victor Stone aka Cyborg, tweeted the following image seen below.

The image relates to a deleted sequence briefly seen in the Justice League Special Comic-Con Footage trailer in which Ray Fisher is seen playing Football.

Haroon Shareef with Superhero Talk Site, posted a laundry list of rumored deleted scenes including the following:
DELETED – Cyborg’s previous life. He plays a great football match that his MOTHER (Yes, she was cast as well) attends. Afterwards, they drive home. Victor is angry that his Dad never made it while his mother tries to console him. Victor just keeps getting angry and lashing out, loses control of the car – causing a fiery crash.
If this was in fact shot but ultimately deleted from the film, then we can surmise that the image above corresponds to this sequence.  Although a stark deviation from the comic origins in which Cyborg’s disfigurement stems from an accident at Stark Labs, this origin actually sounds much more grounded and compelling.

Although it is currently unknown if all of the elements of the rumor are true, Ray Fisher did verify the existence of a scene between Cyborg and his mother. In an interview with Gamespot, Fisher said: “There’s a scene with Victor Stone, when he still was Victor Stone, and his mother, that was really special to shoot.”
