Barely finishing up its fourth week in theaters, Wonder Woman has now surpassed the domestic gross totals of all previous DCEU films.  According to Box Office Mojo, Man of Steel grossed $291,045,518 domestically, Suicide Squad hit $325,100,054 and Batman v Superman reached $330,360,194. As of July 2nd, 2017, Wonder Woman with a release date of June 2nd, 2017, has now earned $346,644,475 as its domestic gross total.

Its current box office totals both domestically and internationally have Wonder Woman with a worldwide gross of $708,444,475. Wonder Woman has currently outpaced Man of Steel’s worldwide gross and is expected to outperform Batman v Superman’s totals by the end of its theatrical run. Wonder Woman is expected to remain in theaters for another ten to twelve weeks.

Director Patty Jenkins is expected to return for the film’s sequel however, according to Jenkins, she has not been officially signed to return.

Jenkins’ Wonder Woman is the first critically acclaimed film released as part of the DC Extended Universe with a 92% Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a 91% Audience Score. In spite of intense competition this weekend and the removal of the film from 529 theaters, Wonder Woman still came in 4th place holding onto a spot in the top 5.
